A Soldier's Funeral

During the Yom Kippur war I was enrolled in a high school which was situated near the military cemetery in Mt. Herzel. The funerals there made a lasting impression on me which I painted more than a decade later.  

במהלך מלחמת יום כיפור הייתי בבית ספר תיכון שהיה ממוקם ליד בית הקברות הצבאי בהר הרצל. ההלוויות שם עשו עלי רושם מתמשך שאותו ציירתי אחרי יותר מעשור שנינם.‏
