These cylindrical paintings introduce the fluidity of the definition of narrative and time. Since the painting is spinning around, the image is only revealed in retrospect, as a reconstruction. The artworks contain images, phrases and patterns, which can be put together by the viewers to form a meaningful "picture". However, in contrast to painted cycles, comic strips, or scroll paintings, the non-linearity of the painted sequence does not allow for the forming of a definitive narrative. The shape of the cylinder is that of a double helix, which is similar in form to human DNA and thus invites contemplation of human nature.

ציורים גליליים אלה מציגים את הנזילות של הגדרות הנרטיב והזמן. מכיון שיצירת האמנות מסתובבת, התמונה מתגלה רק במבט לאחור - כשיחזור. יצירות האמנות מכילות דימויים, ביטויים ודגמים, שאותם הצופים יכולים לחבר לשם יצירת "תמונה" משמעותית. עם זאת, בניגוד למחזורים מצוירים, קומיקס או ציורי מגילות, חוסר הכיווניות של המצויר אינו מאפשר יצירת נרטיב בעל רצף חד משמעי. צורת הגליל היא זאת של סליל כפול, הדומה בצורתו לדנ"א האנושי ולכן היא מזמינה הרהור בטבע האנושי.
